Founded in Arizona, Diversified Development Services has developed itself into a unique consulting group, providing a broad range of services as a part of the multi-faceted real estate industry, throughout the national and international markets. 

DDS’s founder and president, Jon Fahning, created the company based on the principals of Innovation, Vision, Integrity, and Service.  The desire to develop a “Win-Win” outcome for all entities involved has led to unique solutions in an often rigid process.  With DDS’s drive to incorporate strong leadership by creating, directing, and managing project teams towards meeting the client’s goals both with progressive solutions and cost effective implementation, Diversified Development Services has delivered the success that has made us an instrumental member of many different development teams and roles. With the main focus on the Client's interests, Jon demonstrates the ability to identify the challenges of the process and take the appropriate means to satisfy the intent of all the parties involved.

With a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and an Emphasis in Community and Regional Planning and Real Estate Development from Iowa State University, Jon has parlayed his experience into 15 years of a divergent level of project exposure within the domestic and international markets.  His client and industry experience include residential, commercial, industrial, retail, golf, and land development organizations; design and implementation firms; manufacturing and distribution corporations; local, state, federal, and tribal governmental organizations. 

Jon's experience ranges from managing projects in excess of $20 million and multi-disciplinary design teams to managing the design, specification, construction, and implementation of land development projects within the diverse real estate development arenas.  This experience, in addition to serving as project manager in the commercial, industrial, retail, golf, and residential land development industries and holding a State of Arizona Real Estate License, provides a unique level of experience and talent to incorporate in all levels of projects, assisting in establishing a vision and implementing it into a built environment!  Jon's hands-on approach in ALL levels and types of developments has made him a unique member to any team or project.

The incorporation of a vision ranging from the design, development, and project execution roles to the experience of the DDS staff, produces a foresight that can be incorporated into real-life results for our clients.  This, with the incorporation of strategic partnerships within a range of development industry disciplines, presents a unique approach and problem-solving drive to this solutions-based consulting service, providing representation without the conflicts of interest.
